Dr. Patrick de Boer


Patrick is a scientist and data engineer with 13 years of professional and academic experience in software engineering. He wrote his PhD dissertation in Crowdsourcing Systems at the University of Zurich. Before founding PeakData, Patrick was CTO of the Center for Collective Intelligence at MIT and earned his Masters degree in Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich

Michael Feldman


Michael is a data scientist with 12 years of experience in data analysis. He is currently writing his PhD dissertation in Collaborative Data Analysis at the University of Zurich. He earned his Masters in Information Systems at the Ben Gurion University (IL) and wrote his Master's thesis on the topic of data quality.

Oracle Data Analytics 2018

PeakData will present use cases for Big Data and Machine Learning that are part of Digitalisation Initiatives in large companies around the world at the upcoming Oracle Data Warehouse Conference in Cologne.

PostFinance Startup Talents 2018

January 8th.

PeakData won the Startup Talents competition hosted by PostFinance and the IFJ, out of 50 applicants. We are very much looking forward to working together in the coming 6 months!


Start JLM 2017

November 5-11

PeakData scored the second rank when participating in a startup competition at the Israeli Embassy to enter start JLM in Jerusalem, an event for innovative startups all around the globe. PeakData got selected as one of 8 Swiss startups out of 25 applicants.

DSAA 2017

October, 19-21, Tokyo, Japan

Patrick got invited to present a cutting edge technology coming out of his PhD research at the University of Zurich, that allows to dramatically cut cost for Data Science projects in a IEEE Data Science conference in Tokyo. The software powered by this algorithm is one of PeakData's key assets, allowing it to deliver better results than its competitors at lower cost.


Scientifica 2017

September 3rd, 12-2pm

Many Swiss companies have collected data on their customers, vendors and products in the recent years. But what is possible with this data? Patrick was invited to present use cases at the annual science fair in Zurich. The workshop will take place in the main building of ETH in German, tickets can be acquired for free on the Event Webseite.

Informatiktage 2017

June 16th 2017, 1-3pm

Patrick organises a Data Science Workshop at the Informatiktage 2017, hosted by the University of Zurich. The goal of the workshop is a hands-on introduction to Data Science, where we analyse a public dataset together.
